• [1/25] Board Meeting

Our Mission Statement

The Medford Lakes Lions Club members are groups of service-minded men and women who are interested in improving their communities. We are young people, families, and Baby Boomers alike. To become a Lion is to become an active volunteer, a member of a respected international organization, a leader in the Medford Lakes community and a friend to people in need!

Passing of Lion Bob Hanold

It is with great sadness that we announce the loss Lion Bob Hanold. He passed peacefully Tuesday morning (Jan 12th) after a long battle with a rare neuroendocrine cancer. Bob dedicated his life to serving others. He was a long-time community leader, serving on the Medford Lakes Council, Town Mayor, and the Planning Board. He joined our club 45 years ago, May 1976. He served on every committee and Board position with the exception of Treasurer and Secretary. He was King Lion in 1985-86, Zone Chairman, and Deputy District Governor. He founded our Food Wagon and ran many of its events as well as founding our Palm Sunday Breakfast fundraiser. In 2000, he was made a Life Member of our club by the Board of Directors and remained extremely active, even in his final days, with support and funding toward our Lions Lodge that bears his name. Due to COVID, the family has decided to delay a memorial service until late Spring or early Summer. Final arrangements are being handled by Bradley and Stow Funeral Home. Obituary.
